Eyebrow Microblading

Don’t let over-plucked, patchy or undesirably-shaped eyebrows lower your self-confidence. Microblading is a popular treatment used to create beautifully-defined eyebrows that appear natural, enhance the face and make all of the difference. At Prity’s, we provide this treatment with the utmost care and precision, ensuring you leave with eyebrows you can be proud of.

Microblading involves the manual insertion of pigments into the upper layers of the skin, to create the illusion of fine eyebrow hairs. Before the treatment, we’ll discuss your desired shape and thickness in a thorough consultation, to ensure that your new eyebrows will meet your requirements. The procedure is effective and our high patient satisfaction rate highlights its success.

Microblading is typically used on eyebrows to create, enhance or reshape their appearance in terms of both shape and colour.

How long does it last?

Depending on how well you look after your new Microbladed Eyebrows, they will last between 1 – 2 years ( Touch up required )

What Is Microblading?

The pigment is implanted in the basal membrane which divides the epidermis from the dermis layer of the skin, and is therefore a more superficial treatment than tattooing.

Does Microblading Suit All Skin Types?

Microblading doesn’t suit the following skin types:
Excessive sebum, oily skin (can be done on oily ) just does not last as long as with other skin types).

  • Problem skin with broken capillaries.
  • Acne.
  • Moles.
  • Keratosis.
  • Seborrhoea Dermatitis.
  • Very dry or peeling skin.
  • Problematic skin.
  • *Also please note that Microblading is not safe during pregnancy or breast feeding.

Does Microblading Hurt?

  • No, not really. On a scale of 1-10, most clients report a discomfort level of about 5.
  • At the beginning of your treatment you will feel a scratching feeling while I am doing my first pass and marking the shape and design of the brow with my hand tool.
  • A numbing cream is then applied which is absorbed into the skin within a few seconds. Once the cream is absorbed very little feeling remains.

Will I Need Touch Ups?

You may need a touch up depending on how your skin retains the pigment, depending on factors such as age, hydration and aftercare.

Everyone’s skin heals differently so it is important to remember that this treatment is a process and you will see your desired results once healing is complete. Be patient and don’t panic!

It is possible that residual pigments, blood and white blood cells may arise from the open wound. Therefore, for 24 hours following your treatment, we recommend washing the skin gently to remove and prevent the build up of dust particles. You can use cool water with a damp cotton pad to prevent dry skin and scabs forming. Don’t panic if dry patches or scabs appear as this is normal and they will heal.

To prevent your skin from scabbing, we suggest applying oil over your brow area 3-4 times a day for at least 3 days following your treatment.

Suitable oils include:

  • Grape Seed Oil.
  • Sweet Almond Oil.
  • Jojoba Oil.
  • Coconut Oil – absorbs into the skin without build up.

These oils heal the brow area holistically as well as getting the best results in retaining pigment colour in the skin.

Important Note: Avoid Petroleum Jelly or Vaseline during your healing period.
Anything with a Petroleum or Vaseline base can cause a bad reaction and can cause crusting and scabbing. We expect to see a little flaking but not scabbing. Vaseline/Petroleum can also cause sweating as the skin is not able to breathe.

Aftercare During The 10 Day Healing Period:

You will be given a book with guidance on how to care for your brows during the initial healing period, which includes:

  • No sun beds.
  • No sweating in the gym.
  • No makeup on the brow area.
  • No anti-ageing creams on the brow area.
  • Do not pick scabs if any appear.
  • Do not itch the brow area or pull the scabs away.
  • Leave your brow area alone and let them heal totally for at least 10 days.
